Volunteer at the Parenting Fair

This is a great opportunity for all event, marketing or hospitality students, recent graduates or those just looking for a new experience.

We are proud to include opportunities for more than 1,000 volunteer hours, for any age, nationality or background, reflecting the diversity of the Gold Coast. Most of our visitors will have their initial contact at the Expo through meeting a volunteer, so we are on the hunt for the most dedicated, enthusiastic people, to be the ‘face’ of the Eco Expo!

We have created various strategic roles to ensure you get the best out of your volunteer experience. Roles vary with each shift, so you can gain experience in different areas of event operations, marketing and hospitality management.  These skills can prove beneficial for future prospects, in the workplace or in their daily lives. 

Key Information

Volunteer from Friday 16th (bump in), to 17th – 18th November (Event Days). To be accepted and gain the most experience from this event, each volunteer must commit to a minimum of three shifts (3 x half days). Roles change with each shift, and may include any of; Exhibitor Relations, Ticket redemptions, Charity Management, Customer Service, Workshop coordination, Stage coordination or Aisle monitoring. 

All applicants will be reviewed, with accepted volunteers contacted before 15th October.
